P.G. Department of Hindi at Hans Raj
Mahila Maha Vidyalaya celebrated Hindi Divas under the able guidance of
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. All the faculty members and students of
the department participated in it with full enthusiasm. On the occasion,
students affixed hand-made memoirs on Principal Sareen and faculty members. Principal
Dr. Sareen congratulated Dr. Jyoti Gogia, Head of Hindi Department and other
faculty members on Hindi Divas and said that Hindi is a language which
establishes unity in diversity in India and an ocean of literature. It is the
language of majority of people in India. Dr. Jyoti Gogia also congratulated all
the faculty members and said that Hindi is the powerful medium of one’s
expressions. A signature campaign was also conducted in which all the members
of the faculty put their signatures in Hindi and expressed their views about
the language. On this occasion, posters made by students were also put on
display. The students also recited Hindi poems in their respective classrooms.
The members of Hindi department, Mrs. Pawan Kumari and Dr. Deepti Dhir were
also present on the occasion.
