Holding
the mission of providing value oriented, skill based, and globally competent
education in sync with Nation's march towards sustainable growth and
prosperity, the students of HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School participated
in International English Olympiad which is organized by Science Olympiad
Foundation, New Delhi in collaboration with British Council. The Olympiad
mainly focuses on the practical use of English language and communication
rather than rote learning. Six students - Jahnavi Kapoor, Mehak Chopra, Simreet
of SSC-1 and Nirlape Kaur, Jiya and
Arvinder Kaur of SSC 2 brought laurels by winning gold medals and certificates
of appreciation for their commendable performance. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.)
Ajay Sareen congratulated the students for their achievement. She also
encouraged the winners to work with commitment to be successful in all walks of
life. School coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal also gave best wishes to students
and motivated students to endeavour for better and deeper understanding of
language to participate in such competitions for their mental growth and
international exposure.
