On the
occasion of Nirwan Diwas of Mahatma Hans Raj Ji, the IQAC, Vedic Adhyan Samiti
and Sanskrit Department of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya took an initiative.
Dedicated to Mahatma Hans Raj Ji, Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen
inaugurated “Honesty Shop” in the college hostel. She addressed the students
and said that we should all remember the sacrifices of Mahatma Ji. We are not
going to find such a personality anywhere in the world. The objective of
inaugurating this “Honesty Shop” is to inculcate the qualities of Mahatma Ji in
our students. Through “Honesty Shop” the students will be getting all the
things of day to day usage and they will be keeping money there honestly.
Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen said that HMV is known for its innovation. True
tribute to Mahatma Ji will be do continuous efforts for inculcating good
qualities in our students so that they can opt for truth in their life.
Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal told the students about Honesty Shop in
detail. She said in order to make this project a success, contribution of every
student is a must. Secretary Arya Yuvti Sabha Kashman shared her views on
Mahatma Ji with all the students. Dean Academics Dr. Seema Marwaha, IQAC
Coordinator Dr. Ashmeen Kaur, Dean Youth Welfare Mrs. Navroop also paid tribute
to Mahatma Ji. Dean Vedic Adhyan Samiti Dr. Mamta presented vote of thanks.
Stage was conducted by Dr. Meenu Talwar. On this occasion all faculty members,
hostel wardens and students were present.
