The
Red Cross Society of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar organized an
extension lecture under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay
Sareen. The Resource Person were Gynaecologist Dr. Sangeeta Kapoor from Shivam
IVF Centre, Dr. Sugandha Bhatia, President National Integrated Medical
Association and Cipla Therapy Manager Sh. Som Verma. The topic of the lecture
was Awareness towards Women Health. Dr. Sangeeta Kapoor discussed various
health issues of women with the students and told them about the solutions. She
also discussed the benefits of good diet and suggested the students to take
healthy diet for a healthy living. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen
addressed the students and congratulated the advisor of Red Cross Society Mrs.
Deepshikha, Incharge Mrs. Pawan Kumari, Advisor of Red Ribbon Society Mrs.
Kuljit Kaur and Incharge Dr. Deepali for organizing this lecture. She said that
such lectures provide useful information to the students. The Resource Person
were honoured with planters by Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. Stage
was conducted by Mrs. Kuljit Kaur. On this occasion, Mrs. Chandrika and
volunteers of Red Cross Society and Red Ribbon Society were also present.
