Under
the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen, the Bachelor of
Fine Arts department of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar organized one
day Workshop on Portrait, Life Drawing and Composition. Mr. Sunil Kapoor, the winner of PTC Punjabi Hunar Punjab da 2020,
was the Resource Person of the event and he was welcomed by Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen and Head of Department Dr. Neeru Bharti Sharma with a Planter.
Kanishka and Reeva Sharma of Fine Arts introduced the Resource Person Mr. Sunil
Kapoor to the audience. Mr. Sunil Kapoor
started said about the basics of Portrait and Life Drawing with Charcoal Pencil.
He further added that proportions are very important. Students asked queries
throughout the event which were answered by him. He gave a demonstration of
Composition on Canvas with Acrylic Colors. This interactive workshop was
attended by more than 55 students from All BFA classes and BA sem 1st,
3rd and 5th. Dr. Shailendra Kumar
gave a vote of thanks. On this occasion, Mr. Jatindra Thorat was also present.
