Department of Commerce and Management of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organised a seminar on ‘Emerging
Opportunities for Commerce Students in the Field of CS'. The key speakers for
the day were CS Kanuba Jain (Ex Chairperson Jalandhar chapter of NIRC of ICSI)
and CS Saurabh Aggarwal (Chairperson
Jalandhar chapter of NIRC of ICSI).
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen
accorded green greetings to the resource persons of the seminar. The seminar
began with formal welcome by Mrs. Meenu Kohli, Head PG Department of Commerce
and Management. She encouraged the students to join such programs for their
professional enhancement. CS Kanuba Jain gave the information about CS
profession and discussed the opportunities available for the students of commerce. She talked
about the role and responsibilities of a company secretary in today’s corporate
scenario. CS Kanuba Jain also briefed about CS admission process and course
details with the students. CS Saurabh Aggarwal discussed the practical aspect
of CS course. Around 200 students attended the seminar and got their doubts
cleared regarding CS course. Principal

coaching is also provided to the students in HMV. The seminar concluded with
the formal vote of thanks by Dr. Minakshi Duggal Mehta. Dr. Seema Khanna,
member Organising Committee and other members of the faculty graced the
occasion with their presence.
