Fashionista-The Glam Show 2023
was organized successfully under the leadership of proficient Principal Prof.
Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen in the premises of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar.
Justice (Retd.) Sh. N.K. Sud, Vice President DAVCMC and Chairman of Local
Committee alongwith his wife Mrs. Arunima Sud were the chief guests for the
occasion. The event also witnessed the gracious presence of Lady of the day
Dr. Jasleen Kaur, CEO, Orthonova hospital,Mrs. Vani Vij, Director Danik Savera,
Mrs. Ronita, CEO, Evergreen Publication, Mrs. Seema Soni, Regional Programming
Director, Punjab-Hariyana Radio city, Sh. Arvind Ghai and his wife Mrs. Rashmi
Ghai and from local committee Sh. Ajay Goswami alongwith his wife, Sh. Y.K. Sud alongwith his wife, Sh. Surender
Seth and his wife, Sh. Kundan Lal Aggerwal, Sh. S.P. Sahdev, Dr. Pawan Gupta,
Dr. Sushma Chawla, Mrs. Purnima Beri, Sh. Irwin Khanna, DEO Sardar Gursharan
Singh, Principal Kiranjit Randhawa, Sh. Rajeev joshi, Principal Sh. Rakesh
sharma, and Sh. Sudhir made their presence in this majestic show. All the
guests were warmly welcomed with presenting them a green planter. Principal
Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen welcomed all the guests, sponsors, Media partners,
Radio partners, local committee, Designers, Show stoper and thanked them to
come in HMV. Principal Sareen said that the prime endeavour of this Glam Show
is to motivate young female buds and encourage women empowerment so that they
could face any sort of challenge in their life with boldness and mettle.
Further, she said, it the prime objective of the college to provide placement
to young girls so that they can be independent and seek a bright career in
their life. Moreover, Dr. Sareen inspired the students and told that they
should not to be a job seeker but a job provider. Further, Madam Principal Dr.
Sareen congratulated Mrs. Navneeta, Programme coordinator of this Glam Show,
Mrs. Rishav from fashion designing department, Dr. Ashmeen Kaur, event manager,
and Dr. Sangeeta Arora for organizing such a successful event. In order to make
the event more cheerful, a renowned Punjabi singer Sardar Kulbir singh forced
the students to dance on his popular songs. RJ Karan, with his prowess, engaged
the audience and made them happy. Students from the department of fashion
designing presented beautiful dresses and captivated the audience. Justice
(Retd.) Sh. N.K. Sud, in her speech, blessed one and all who were present over
there and congratulated the principal of the college, and the whole staff for
organizing such a peculiar event. In addition to it, he said, fashion designing
is such sort of subject with the help of which students can be independent in
their life. Moreover, Justice Sud hoped for a bright future of students. This
Fashionista was organized in ten rounds in which students and teachers engaged
all by wearing different colorful attires and presenting them on the ramp.
Various colourful dresses were presented by Show Stopper round Nidhi Sardana.
At the end of the event, guests also walked on the ramp and increased the charm
of the show. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen presented a token of love towards the
chief guests and sponsers of the event.
Lady of the day, Dr. Jasleen also thanked to all in her speech. The
stage was successfully conducted by Dr. Anjana Bhatia who also received the
attention of audience by reciting couplets. All the teaching and Non-teaching
staff was present on this fantastic Fashionista-The Glam Show.
