Dr.
Harpreet Singh, Head PG Department of Bioinformatics, Hans Raj Mahila
MahaVidyalaya Jalandhar visited Dubai as
an invited speaker during the HCT International Conference on Advancements in
Health Sciences organized by the Higher Colleges of Technology, UAE at the
Dubai Men’s Campus from 8-9 March, 2023. Dr. Harpreet Singh presented his
research work related to drug discovery to develop novel drugs against Malaria
parasites. It is notable the work
presented is a part of the research project funded by the UAE Government with a
grant of about Rs. 43 Lacs in which Dr. Harpreet Singh is an co-investigator.
Dr. Harpreet Singh expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the DAV College Managing
Committee and Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen for their constant
motivation and guidance which made possible to represent Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya
on such a big platform. Dr. Harpreet Singh also thanked the Management of the
HCT and the Conference Organizing Committee, especially Prof. Gregory Blatch for
giving him this opportunity and their great hospitality. Principal Prof. Dr.(Mrs.)
Ajay Sareen congratulated Dr. Harpreet Singh and the PG Department of
Bioinformatics for this unique achievement and constantly yielding such
international rewards. On this occasion Dean Academics Dr. Seema Marwaha, Dean
Curriculum Coordination Dr. Sangeeta Arora, Dean Innovations and Research Dr.
Anjana Bhatia, and Superintendent Mr. Ravi Maini were also present.
