Red Cross Society of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya in collaboration with NHS Hospital,
Jalandhar organized a Medical Check-up Camp on Adolescent Health and Gynae
Problems under the able guidance of Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. Mrs.
Deepshikha, Advisor, Youth Red Cross Society, HMV welcomed Dr. Vibha Chitkara,
Gynaecologist, NHS hospital, Jalandhar. Dr. Vibha Chitkara shed light on
adolescent health and common gynae problems prevalent in the young girls and
also discussed the root causes of these problems. She emphasized on the
importance of healthy and balanced diet, stress management, exercise and good
sleep further adding that healthy life
style and food can prevent many gynae problems which the women now-a-days
experience too early in age. Many students shedding their inhibitions asked the
questions regarding their health issues to Dr. Vibha and she addressed all the
concern of individuals. She attended to all the individuals giving prescription
and complete guidance. Total 60 people including students, faculty and non
teaching staff were examined by Dr. Vibha Chitkara. Mrs. Deepshikha, Mrs. Pawan
Kumari (Incharge), Dr. Vandna Thakur and Dr. Jaspreet Kaur and staff of NHS
hospital actively co-ordinated the medical camp.
