Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen has ushered a golden age and took the
institution to yet greater heights by adding another feather to it's golden
cap. Principal Sareen received the Award of Best Institute in Skill Development
and Education from Education World in Grand Jury Higher Education Rankings
2023-24. With this Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya stands at No. 1 in Punjab
and at No. 6 in India in the Education World rankings. HMV was commended
especially for new age, career oriented skill development education
programmes. Grand Jury of well-informed educationists chose HMV from
amongst numerous entries for the coveted award. Project Coordinator Dr. Anjana
Bhatia said that HMV was selected on the basis of skill development projects
especially aimed at women empowerment and social outreach towards skill
building of marginalised women. The award ceremony was held at New Delhi where
the topmost higher education institutes were honoured for their extraordinary
achievements. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen thanked the mentors at DAVCMC New
Delhi and congratulated the faculty, staff, students and stakeholders for their
continuous support which has enabled the institution to have this award.
