HMV Empowering women through education with scholarships worth 1.5 crores
Hans Raj Mahila MahaVidyalaya remains at the forefront of women's education and empowerment, continuing its tradition of excellence. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen proudly announced that HMV is once again offering a multitude of scholarships to exceptional students, recognizing their remarkable achievements in board examinations. The HMV Brilliance Award for UG courses is a prestigious accolade bestowed upon the top 10 board positions and students who secure marks above 98%. These outstanding scholars will be granted full freeships, affirming their dedication to academic excellence. Students attaining marks ranging from 95% to 97.9% will receive a scholarship worth Rs. 10,000, while those achieving marks between 93% to 94.9% will be awarded Rs. 8,000. Additionally, students securing marks between 90% to 92.9% will receive a scholarship of Rs. 4,000, with a further scholarship of Rs. 2,000 provided to those scoring between 88% to 89.9%. In subsequent years of UG courses, the first position holder of the university will be bestowed with a full freeship, acknowledging their exceptional academic prowess. Similarly, in skilled courses, the first position holder will be honored with a scholarship amounting to Rs. 10,000. The second position holder will receive a commendable 35% scholarship on total fees, while the third position holder will be granted a 25% ofscholarship. Moreover, students achieving the first and second positions within the college during university exams will receive a generous 10% and 5% concession, respectively. To further support exceptional performance, a noteworthy scholarship of Rs. 5,000 will be awarded to the first position holder in college/university for courses exclusively available within the college. For aspiring students entering PG courses, HMV extends its commitment to academic excellence by offering a full freeship to the first position holder. The second position holder will be rewarded with a substantial scholarship of Rs. 10,000, while the third position holder will receive a well-deserved scholarship amounting to Rs. 5,000. In subsequent years of PG courses, the first position holder in the university will be privileged to retain their full freeship status, with a range of scholarships provided to honor the achievements of the second and third position holders. HMV's dedication to social welfare is exemplified through several missions and initiatives. A number of scholarships are granted under the canopy of Mahatma Anand Swami Shikshit Beti Mission, HMV 'Provides Wings' Mission, Mahatma Hans Raj Beti Padao Mission, Maharishi Dayanand Unnat Beti Mission, sister concession, 'Earn while you learn' scheme. Apart from these scholarships, HMV actively encourages students to explore government and non-government scholarship opportunities.
