Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha
Samagam 2023 was inaugurated on 29th July 2023 by Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri
Narendra Modi at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on the occasion of
third anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The
event started with the inaugural address by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra
Modi, showcasing the achievement made by India in implementation of NEP 2020 in
last three years and way forward.
The two-day Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam, scheduled for July 29 and July 30,
aimed to create a platform for various stakeholders in the education sector.
Academics, thematic experts, policymakers, industry representatives, teachers,
and students from schools, higher education institutions, and skilling
organizations came together to share their valuable insights, success stories
and best practices in implementing the NEP 2020. Under the able guidance of
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen, HMV was invited to participate and
showcase the innovative practices like Paper Recycling StartUP and waste
management practices. Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Dean Innovation and Research told that
Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen has envisioned various innovative practices to
mitigate the waste production from the college. Dr. Jatinder, Head Biotech
Department participated in the event and said that HMV has always been the
forerunner in implementation of education reforms.
