Cross Society of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar under the able
guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen, organized a medical
check-up camp in collaboration with Medanta-The Medicity, Gurugram. Dr. Sonu
Singh, orthopedics, Dr. Rahul, cardiologist accompanied by the supporting staff
from Medanta Hospital conducted the check up camp for the staff of college. The
facilities of ECG, RBS, BMD, BP, PFT tests were extended to the staff and
various concerns of test results were dealt by the concerned doctors and
appropriate advice and prescription was given by them. Mrs. Deepshikha, Advisor
and Mrs. Pawan Kumari, Incharge, Dr. Vandna Thakur, Member, Red Cross Society
ensured the smooth functioning of camp. More than 75 members of teaching and
non-teaching staff were benefitted from this camp. The organization of Medical
Check-Up Camp was appreciated by all the staff members and they acknowledged
that such activities boost up the morale and give a feeling of security.
