NSS Unit and Red Ribbon
Club of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar organized a Blood Donation
Camp in collaboration with PAHAL, an NGO under the able guidance of Principal
Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The chief guest of the occasion was S. Balkar Singh (Cabinet Minister, Punjab Govt) Mrs.
Rajwinder Kaur and Sh. Raman Arora (MLA). Principal Prof. Sareen welcomed the
guests with green planters. In her address, she praised the initiative promoted
by the government of Punjab. On the occasion, the NSS volunteers and the
students of Red Ribbon Society contributed to the cause of society by donating
their blood. S. Balkar Singh, the chief guest of the event, thanked the
volunteers of HMV for showing their enthusiasm in donating their blood. He also
encouraged the students to participate regularly in social welfare activities.
Smt. Harvinder Kaur of PAHAL NGO presented a jute bag to all the donors and
gave a message of environment conservation. On the occasion, Dr. Raman Sharma
(Civil Surgeon), Dr. Geeta (MS), Dr. Varinder
Kaur (SMO), Dr. Gurpinder Kaur, Sh. Dinesh Dhall, Sh. Anil Dhall were
also present as special guests. Dr. Veena Arora, the convener of the Event,
Mrs. Kuljit Kaur, Incharge and Ms. Harmanu thanked the guests and the
volunteers for successful organization of the camp.
