Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized
Havan Yajna in its premises on the occasion of Balidan Diwas of Swami
Shradhanand Ji. All the teaching and non-teaching members of the college took
part in this Havan. Principal Dr. Prof. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen said that Swami Ji
was a great personality. He was a fearless editor, symbol of communal harmony
and successor of Maharishi Dayanand Ji. She said that we all should take
inspiration from his life. She said that it is our humble duty to inspire
others from Swami Ji’s life. Head of Sanskrit Department Dr. Meenu Talwar
shared some of events of Swami Ji’s life and said that we should all bow our
head in front of such mesmerizing personality who donated his wealth for
society. On this occasion all the deans, teaching staff, Superintendents Mr.
Pankaj Jyoti, Mr. Lakhwinder Singh and Mr. Ravi Maini were present. All the
teaching and non-teaching staff members paid floral tribute to Swami
Shradhanand Ji. Shanti Path was also
recited at the end of the Havan and Prasad was distributed.
