On
the final day of CATC Camp at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar, a
motivational talk to join Armed forces was delivered by Col K D Singh, CO 6055
(I) MBW an alumnus of 2 PB NCC Air Wing, Amritsar. The closing address was
delivered by Camp Commandant Maj Amanpreet Kaur Adm Officer 2 PB (G) BN NCC,
Jalandhar. During her address she thanked Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay
Sareen for her kind cooperation throughout the camp. Then she thanked Deputy
Camp Commander Lt Sonia Mahindru, ANO, HMV, Camp Adjutant Lt Sunita Devi, ANO,
GNN College for Women, Nakodar and all the ANOs from different institutions who
were detailed for the camp. She thanked Senior GCI Parvati Chauhan, Senior GCI
Sandeep and GCI Anju Sharma for their wholehearted support support.
During camp following following team of 2 Punjab Girl BN was present in
the camp Sub Maj Banwari Lal Meena, Sub Maj Gurcharan Singh, Sub Maj Jasbir
Singh, Sub Maj Parmjeet Singh, NB Ris Shaitana Ram, Nb/Sub Davinder Pal Singh,
Nb/Sub M K Pohanker, Hav Rattan Singh, Hav Gurdeep Singh, Hav Satnam Singh, Hav
Tarsem Singh, Hav Bablu Ram Sharma, Hav R S Parihar, Hav P K Khushwaha, Hav
Yogendra Kumar, Hav Gurdeep Singh, Hav Aman Singh, Sub Parmjeet Singh, NK
Vishal Singh, NK Chandrika Yadav. Principal Dr. Sareen said that this camp
was a great learning experience for the cadets. Lt Sonia Mahindru told that HMV
Cadets won two Gold Medals in Guard of Honour, Three Silver Medals in Drill,
Two Silver Medals in Group Dance. Cadet Anchal was awarded with two Gold Medals
for being Company Senior and Best Turnout. All the cadets in the camp were
dispersed by taking Biometric Attendance.
