Today
the CATC Camp extended into the sixth day of training in this chilling cold
weather in continuation with 10 day CATC NCC Camp organized at Hans Raj Mahila
Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar under the direction of Col M.S. Sachdev, Commanding
Officer 2 PB Girls BN and Administrative Officer Maj Amanpreet Kaur and the
kind cooperation of Principal Prof Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen who provided camp
location. The day started with PT, Drill, Obstacle Course, followed by tent
pitching, firing by Charlie Company in the presence of PI Staff, GCI Anju
Sharma and CTO Jyoti. Workshop by 7th NDRF Bathinda (Regional
Response Centre, Ludhiana) was organized in the camp. Inspector/GD Uddhbeer
Singh and his eight team members briefed the cadets about different disasters
and precautions to be taken. It was followed by Poster Making Competition
organized by ANO Lt Sunita Devi and third officer Amandeep Kaur. Sr GCI Parvati
Chahaun did not leave any stone unturned in making this camp a meaning learning
era for cadets. Subedar Gurcharan Singh stood shoulder to shoulder in looking
after all the Administrative responsibilities. At the close of the day, Lt
Sonia Mahindru, ANO Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar thanked all the
guests for their contribution in the camp.
