Basant
Panchmi Festival was celebrated at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya by the
Student Council of the College under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr.
(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. Saraswati Vandana was recited by the students of Music
Vocal department under the guidance of Dr. Prem Sagar, Head of Music Vocal
Department. Dr. Sagar said that Basant is a symbol of happiness and prosperity.
Dr. Prem Sagar, Dr. Jyoti Gogia, Dr. Gagandeep, Mr. Praduman recited Bhajans
and songs on this occasion. The teachers and students were wearing yellow
clothes and offered flowers to Maa Saraswati-the Goddess of Wisdom and
Knowledge. The stage was conducted by Dr. Jyoti Gogia. Vote of thanks was given
by Coordinator IQAC, Dr. Ashmeen Kaur. The Prasadam was also distributed among
the students faculty and staff members of the college.
