HMV Collegiate School Organized ‘Jashan-e-Parwaaz’ 2024



 

Farewell Party ‘Jashan-e-Parwaaz 2024’ was organized in the premises of HMV Collegiate Senior Secondary School for the outgoing students under the encouraging guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The event was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers and to reminisce joyous moments. Function was started with lamp lighting followed by DAV Gaan. On this occasion, Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen was welcomed by Dr. Seema Marwaha, School Coordinator and Dean Academics, Mrs. Arvinder Kaur Beri (Overall Incharge Farewell) and Mrs. Renu Walia (Co- Incharge) by giving planters. In her address, Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen showered her blessings and expressed her strong belief that girls of this pioneer Institute will be the ambassador of the values and ethics they have learnt from the Institute. She expressed her deep appreciation to the students' immense talent which is polished in HMV premises and provides edge to their personalities. She also prayed to the Almighty God that all students achieve their goals by moving forward on the path of progress. HMV is not only known for its excellence in academics but also for the overall personality development of its students. She admired the cultural items performed by participants and congratulated entire school team for arranging such a beautiful function. After this Dr. Seema Marwaha, School Coordinator asked students to have perfect balance between enjoyment and studies. According to her they should work hard to achieve success in life without taking any mental stress. Furthermore, she motivated them to give good performance in exams and get excellent results. At last, She guided students to follow two mottos in life, ‘Never give up’ to get success and giving 100% to achieve aimed goals and  ‘Let it go’ to accept failures smilingly and without being depressed. She conveyed her gratitude to the worthy judges, the faculty members and to dear students for their relentlessly untiring efforts to turn dreams into reality. Mrs. Binoo Gupta (Commerce) Dean Student Welfare, praised students for showing their talent through marvellous performances. She told students that becoming good humans should be their first goal. They will always be considered a part of HMV though they leave the college. HMV provides lot of opportunities to nurture their skills. She wished great success in life for students. To make the environment more exciting and enjoyable, modelling rounds were conducted in which the students enthusiastically participated. Along with dance, Punjabi, Giddha, Bhangra, Games, Singing, Mimicry, Comedy etc. were also performed. The juniors enthralled the gathering and added colours to the vibrant occasion. Dippenpreet and Neha of SSC-1 (Commerce) presented an emotional poem “Dear Seniors” for their Seniors. Mrs. Binoo Gupta, (Commerce) Dean Student Welfare, Mrs. Purnima, (Bioinformatics)  and Mrs. Rishabh (Fashion Designing)  played the role of Judges. In modelling, students were given different titles. Ashu Miss Farewell, Jia Arora 1st Runner-up, Kritika 2nd Runner-up, Saumya Miss Artsy Queen, Shrishti Miss Biz Girl, Amandeep Miss Tech Fairy respectively. Principal congratulated and distributed crowns, planters and prizes among winners. Saumya shared her enriching experience and also expressed gratitude. Shrishti (Head Girl)  gave valedictory speech and poured her emotions in a poetry for the praise of campus and teachers. Following the tradition of institution, the dignitaries passed on the light of wisdom- DivyaJyoti from the outgoing students to the students of SSC 1. On this occasion, Mrs. Arvinder Kaur Beri while presenting the vote of thanks, thanked all the members wholeheartedly and said that these types of events give confidence and help in intellectual development of the students, which is very necessary in today's modern and competitive world.  The stage was successfully conducted by Ms. Rashmi Sethi and the students Ms. Neha, Ms. Aditi and Ms. Prachi. On this occasion the teachers of college and school section were present.
