The star cast of Punjabi Movie
“Khadari” visited Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya for promotion under the able
guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. On this occasion, Heroine
of the movie and alumnae of HMV Ms. Surbhi Jyoti Punjabi actor Kartar Cheema
and Prabh Grewal were present. Film Producers Mr. Paramjeet Singh, Ravish
Abrol, Mrs. Parveen Abrol were also there. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay
Sareen welcomed the guests with Phulkari and the team planted a plant and gave
message of environment conservation to the society. She said that Punjabi films
promote Punjabi art and culture in actual. She gave her best wishes for the
success of the movie. Actress Surbhi Jyoti felt elated on her visit in HMV and
said that she has learnt acting from the stage of HMV. She started her theatre
career in HMV and she remembered her good time spent in the college. She said
that HMV is a prestigious institution which has shaped the future of many
students. The students of dance and sports department gave performance on the
song of the movie. The whole programme was coordinated by Dean Youth Welfare
Mrs. Navroop, Mrs. Rama Sharma, Dr. Rakhi Mehta and Mr. Ravi Maini. The stage
was conducted by Mrs. Binoo Gupta. From Radio City 91.9 FM, RJ Himanshu and RJ
Sandy were also there.
