Jalandhar organized an International Webinar on “An Amazing World of Scientific
Illustrations: A Journey from Research to Entrepreneurship” under the aegis of
DBT Star Scheme, Govt. of India. Dr. Radhika Patnale, Director Sci-illustrate,
Founder and CEO, Endosymbiont, GmbH, Munich Germany was the resource person of
the webinar. Dr. Radhika beautifully explained how the fields of Science and
Art be combined to explain a scientific idea in a much simpler and interesting
manner for a wide range of audience. She motivated the participants with her
journey from a neuroscientist to an entrepreneur in the field of science
communication. She also made students aware of excellent career opportunities
in the field of science communication. More than 100 participants joined this
webinar from different institutes across India and other countries. Dr. Anjana
Bhatia , Dean Research & Innovations introduced the resource person and also briefed her about the unmatched
achievements of our college under the leadership of Our respected Principal
Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. Dr. Harpreet Singh Head, Department of
Bioinformatics gave concept note on webinar. Dr. Jitender Head, Department
of Biotechnology gave vote of thanks at
the end of this webinar. Mrs. Purnima, Mr. Sumit, Mrs. Ramandeep, Dr. Sakshi,
Dr. Shuchi, Ms. Harpreet, Mr. Ravi
faculty members of various science departments attended the webinar. Mr.
Arvind Chandi provided technical assistance for organizing the event. Principal
Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen and Dr. Seema Marwaha, Dean, Academics

Biotechnology for successfully organizing the webinar and taking such unique
