Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalya has achieved an
impressive A+ grade in the DBT Star Scheme Task Force review conducted by the
Department of Biotechnology, Government of India at Coimbatore. This
prestigious recognition highlights the institution's excellence in education
and research. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen expressed her pride in
this significant achievement. The presentation during the review was led by Dr.
Anjana Bhatia, the coordinator of the Star Scheme, along with Mr. Jagjit
Bhatia, Associate Professor from the PG Department of Computer Science. Dr.
Garima Gupta, Scientist F from the Department of Biotechnology, Government of
India updated the progress and advancements made by HMV. This accolade
reaffirms HMV's commitment to fostering academic excellence and innovative
research in the field of Sciences. On this occasion Dr. PK Pati, Professor,
Department of Biotechnology, GNDU, Amritsar motivated the faculty to keep
excelling. He further added that HMV is a great institution with great potential.
The jubilant Principal thanked Dr. Punam Suri, Padma Shri Awardee, President
DAVCMC , Justice NK Sud, Chairman, LAC and all the mentors at DAVCMC and Local Advisory
Committee. She congratulated the entire team for the dedicated work. Mrs.
Deepshikha, Dr. Seema Marwaha, Mrs. Saloni, Dr. Sangeeta Arora, Dr. Gagandeep,
Dr. Jatinder, Dr. Harpreet Singh, Dr. Urvashi, Mrs. Purnima, Mrs. Ramandeep, Ms.
Harpreet, Dr. Simmi, Dr. Sakshi Dr. Shuchi and all the teachers of Star Scheme
Sponsored Departments were present. On this occasion HMV celebrated the
achievement by cake cutting in which Faculty Incharges Mrs. Navroop, Mrs. Meenu
Kohli, Dr. Rakhi also acknowledged with happiness the excellent review result
of HMV in DBT Star Scheme.
