Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized a Capacity Building Workshop under Wipro Earthian
Awards in collaboration with Punjab State Council for Science & Technology
(PSCST) under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The
Chief Guest of the workshop was Dr. K.S. Bath, Joint Director PSCST. DEO Sh.
Suresh Kumar Ji was special guest of Eminence. He motivated the teachers to
work diligently for the cause of environment. The special guest was Mr. Ashish
Shah, Expert Wipro Foundation. Dr. Mandakini (Project Scientist) and Sh. Rajeev
Joshi (Deputy DEO) were also present there as guest of eminence. The programme
started with lighting of lamp. The guests were welcomed with planters by
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen.
The guests were told about the achievements of the college. Principal
Dr. Sareen congratulated the team of Earthian awards and said success of
teachers will result in creating more possibilities for the students. She also
congratulated the winners of Earthian award. Dr. Navroop Kaur, Dean Youth
Welfare and Dr. Seema Marwaha Dean Academics welcomed the guests with green
greetings. Dr. K.S. Bath felt elated on
his visit in HMV. He said that many teachers have been benefitted with this
project. The award winning teachers shared their experience with all the
participants. In Technical Session, Mr. Ashish Shah, Expert, Wipro Foundation
shared wonderful knowledge about biodiversity. He said that our main objective
is to make people capable to for the challenges regarding environment. Dr. Mandakini also provided brief
information. Total 60 participants were there. Stage was conducted by Dr.
Anjana Bhatia. On this occasion, Dean Academics Dr. Seema Marwaha was also
