Dr. Manisha Sachar’s session was insightful and highly informative. She began by explaining Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD) and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), highlighting the symptoms, causes, and the impact these conditions can have on women's health. She emphasized the importance of early diagnosis and lifestyle changes in managing these disorders. Her talk also covered thyroid disorders, another common issue affecting both men and women. Dr. Sachar discussed the symptoms of hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism, the role of hormonal balance, and how proper medical guidance can help manage these conditions effectively. She also talked about drug addiction and the ways to protect our loved ones from this. The consultation camp allowed participants to gain a better understanding of these health issues, and many attendees took the opportunity to seek personalized advice from Dr. Manisha. The interactive nature of the camp encouraged open discussions, where students and staff were able to ask questions and clarify their doubts. Overall, the camp was a great success, offering much-needed awareness and guidance on PCOD, PCOS, and thyroid issues. The Red Ribbon Club plans to continue organizing such health-focused events in the future, contributing to the well-being of the institution’s community.
