Mental Health Day. A workshop was organized for the students on Power of
subconscious mind : Practical techniques for personal growth by Dr. Radhika
Gupta. Dr. Gupta is a clinical psychologist with an illustrious academic
background, holding a Ph.D. in Psychology from Guru Nanak Dev University. Her
research, which focused on Adolescents’ Emotional Autonomy in the Context of
Parents and Peer Relationships, has provided valuable insights into youth
psychology. She was welcomed by Head of the Department Dr. Ashmeen Kaur with a
planter. Key Benefits of the workshop were on understanding the Subconscious
Mind: How it works and how we can overcome our negative thoughts and
personality. Furthermore the topics like- Habits Formation: Recognizing how
habits are formed can help individuals cultivate positive behaviors. Goal
Achievement: Aligning subconscious beliefs with conscious goals enhances focus
and motivation. Emotional Healing: Techniques like everyday journaling,
meditation and affirmations. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen appreciated
the efforts of the department for organising the event on such a relevant issue
and also said that such events are a reminder to self and society for
maintaining good mental health. Ms. Pahul Jabal and Tannu Kumar (Bvoc. MHC sem
1) conducted the stage. Ms. Bhoomi Sharma (BA sem5) gave the formal vote of
thanks .On this occasion more than 100 students and Ms. Priya Seth, Ms. Parul
Sharma Ms. Ishmanpreet Kaur and Ms
Ishita PG department of Psychology
participated in the workshop.
