R. Venkatraman Chemical Society of
Chemistry Department of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized DBT-STAR
sponsored workshop on the “Techniques for preparation of
solutions” under the able guidance of “Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs)
Ajay Sareen. The workshop was designed to develop skills in students and all
the laboratory attendants of science department to prepare analytical solution
independently. Mrs. Deepshikha Head of Chemistry Department welcomed the
participants and introduced them about the objectives of the workshop. Further
she explained the importance of standard solutions and accurate solution
preparation methods in various chemistry experiments. She explained the
chemistry behind the preparation of various types of solution. After, that a
hand on training session was also conducted in which Mrs. Deepshikha, Ms.
Tanisha Sharma, Ms. Hemlata and Dr. Rajneet Kaur assisted the students to make
different type of solutions. The students were very contented with work put
ahead by all the team. The event was a huge success. In workshop 30 students
and all lab attendants of science department were benefitted. Dr. Seema
Marwaha, Dr. Saloni Sharma were also present during the workshop.
