One day interactive session cum
workshop on Entrepreneurship and startups was organized by Department of
Design, Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya. Owner of the Fashion brand “The Violent
Dresser” Mrs. Harleen Kaur and Head Designer Mrs. Daljit Kaur were the
resource person. Design possibilities and business startup ideas were discussed
in detail. Changing fashion industry through innovative business models, use of
technology, and sustainability initiatives were main focus of the session.
Various aspects of Designing Skills, Marketing Strategies, branding, AI in
Design world, visual Assistance, social media, etc. were discussed. The session
was further extended by lecture on innovations in startups by Head of Design
Department Dr. Rakhi Mehta. Session was concluded with question-answer round. Principal
Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated and appreciated the department for
the fruitful interaction. Faculty members Ms. Ravneet Kaur, Ms Manika and Ms.
Ritika were also present.
