The
Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized an
Extension Lecture in collaboration with World Human Rights Organization. The
Resource Person was Ms. Yasni Bowaneedin Puttoo- an International Ambassador,
WHRO, Mauritius. On this occasion, Mrs. Vani Vij, Member IQAC & Mr. Vivek
Aggarwal were also present. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen, IQAC
Coordinator Dr. Ashmeen Kaur & Dean Youth Welfare Dr. Navroop Kaur welcomed
her with Planter & Phulkari. Madam Puttoo talked about condition of women
in Mauritius & the privileges being given to women & children. She told
about various opportunities available in Mauritius. She told that women should
be able to tie their family in one knot by maintaining a balance between
professional & personal life. In every woman’s life, there are ups &
downs. Without empowerment, we are incomplete. She stressed that women should
be aware of her rights. Principal Dr. Sareen said that it is the need of the
hour to be aware of your rights & we should stand for our rights. IQAC
Coordinator Dr. Ashmeen Kaur presented vote of thanks. Stage was conducted by
Dr. Anjana Bhatia. On this occasion, all the faculty members were present
there.
