HMV Students Shine at 2nd Edition of IDE Bootcamp, Amity University
Under the inspiring leadership of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen, three talented students from Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya - Kris Sondhi, Deepa Pardhan, and Sakshi Vaid along with their dedicated mentor, Ms. Naina Sharma participated in the 2nd Edition of the Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp (Phase I) at Amity University Rajasthan, Jaipur. This prestigious event held in collaboration with the Wadhwani Foundation, spanned five days filled with enriching entrepreneurial learning and hands-on experience. The bootcamp provided a unique opportunity for students to delve into the entrepreneurial landscape. On Day I, the team explored Problem Identification and Opportunity Discovery, setting the stage for their entrepreneurial journey. The following day, they mastered essential aspects of Business Model Development, learning how to structure and scale ideas effectively. Day III saw an engaging session on Revenue Models followed by a visit to the Bhamasha Techno Hub—a vibrant center for startups and innovation in Jaipur. This dynamic environment inspired creativity and technological advancement among participants, offering HMV students a firsthand experience in the startup ecosystem. On Day IV, the students engaged in a practical session on Design and Product Presentation, refining their ideas with constructive feedback. The final day of the bootcamp saw Team The Pastel.Laces—comprising Kris, Deepa, and Sakshi—impressively pitch their entrepreneurial idea before a panel of judges, earning high praise and commendation. Their outstanding participation also led to a win in the Social Media Contest, where they were declared one of the top-performing teams at the bootcamp. Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated the students on their remarkable achievement and encouraged them to continue to excel. Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Incharge of the Institution's Innovation Council, appreciated the team's innovative efforts and extended her best wishes for their future endeavors. Mrs. Binoo Gupta, Dean of Student Welfare, celebrated their success, highlighting how the IDE Bootcamp offered students a transformative platform to learn the art of entrepreneurship. Mrs. Rama Sharma, Head of the Department of Mass Communication and Video Production (MCVP), also appreciated the students’ efforts, commending their dedication and innovative spirit. Also present on this proud occasion were faculty members, staff and fellow students who celebrated HMV’s budding entrepreneurs, wishing them continued success and growth.
