A series of guest lectures on
‘Online Trading Operations’ were organized by the PG Department of Commerce and
Management of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar for the students of
B.Voc (Banking and Financial Services). Mrs. Divya Nanda, Deputy Vice
President, RBL Bank, Model Town Branch, Jalandhar was the resource person. The
students were given practical insights into the online trading operations such
as depository, NSDL,CDSL, Demat, Clearing and settlement procedure ,SENSEX,
NIFTY, stop loss, order booking etc. The students were also explained about
other avenues of investment such as mutual funds. They were also given insights
into the importance of early investment with the example of compounding.
College Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated Head of the
Department Mrs. Meenu Kohli and motivated to organize such events in future
also.
