HMV Celebrated International Programmers’ Day


 

The PG Department of Computer Science and IT, Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, celebrated International Programmers’ Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. The event was aimed at fostering programming skills, technical knowledge, and creativity among students. Various technical competitions were organized to test the proficiency of the participants in multiple domains of computing. The events included  Web Development (HTML & JavaScript),  Programming in C/C++/Python,  Office Automation using MS Word. The students participated enthusiastically, displaying their innovative ideas and technical competence. The winners of the competitions were  Web Development: Tiya and Komalpreet (BCA Semester V) – First Position,  Office Automation: Renu and Kavita (BCA Semester I) – First Position
- C/C++/Python Programming: Mannat and Rhishita (B.Sc. IT Semester III) – First Position. The competitions were judged by a panel of eminent experts: Mr. Jagjit Bhatia, Ms. Sonia Mohindru, Mr. Gullagong, Dr. Ravinder Jindal, Mr. Gurmeet Singh, and Mr. Pardeep, who evaluated the students on their technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and presentation skills. The overall incharges of the event were Dr. Sangeeta Arora, Head of Department and Dr. Anil Bhasin, Incharge Computer Club, who guided and supervised the smooth conduct of the celebration. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen graced the occasion with her presence, blessed the students, and congratulated the department for the successful organization of the event. She emphasized the importance of programming and technical knowledge in today’s digital era and motivated the students to continue excelling in the field of computer science and IT. The event concluded with a vote of thanks to all participants, judges, and faculty members for making the celebration of International Programmers’ Day 2025 a grand success.
