Under the guidance of Principal Dr.
Ekta Khosla, HMV Collegiate Senior Secondary School organized a one-day field
visit to Sadda Pind at Amritsar, providing students with a meaningful blend of
culture and learning. At Sadda Pind, students experienced the vibrant heritage
of Punjab through traditional exhibits, folk performances, and rural crafts,
gaining first-hand exposure to village life and Punjabi culture. The students
learnt about Punjabi culture and heritage. They danced to the tunes of Dhol and
enjoyed a lot. Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla added that these visits help students
grow not only academically but also culturally, emotionally, and socially.
Coordinator Mrs. Arvinder Kaur highlighted that such experiential trips play a
vital role in the holistic development of students. The students thoroughly
enjoyed the day, and the trip helped them break the monotony of routine,
leaving them refreshed, energized, and more positively engaged.
