Vidyalaya commenced the new semester on a sacred note with Yajna, marking the
dawn of its centenary year under the guidance of Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla. The
serene ambience resonated with holy chants and divine fragrance, creating an
atmosphere of peace and positivity thus adding warmth to the cold day. Principal
Dr. Khosla extended a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, Justice (Retd.) Sh. N.
K. Sud Ji, Chairman, LAC. Addressing the gathering, she congratulated the
entire HMV fraternity on entering the 100th year of the institution’s glorious
establishment. She lauded the relentless efforts of the faculty and staff for
upholding the legacy of excellence and inspired them to continue nurturing
academic brilliance. Emphasizing discipline and responsibility, she urged
students to attend classes regularly and contribute meaningfully to the
nation’s Viksit Bharat vision. Sh. N. K. Sud Ji conveyed his heartfelt best
wishes and appreciated the dedication and diligence of the HMVians, proudly
describing them as the best. Dean Academics Dr. Seema Marwaha also motivated
students to work diligently and continuously enhance their skills. The occasion
was further marked by the release of the New Year Calendar and HMV News. Dean
Vedic Studies Dr. Mamta presented the vote of thanks. The Yajna concluded with
the soulful recital of the Shanti Path followed by the distribution of Prasad. The
Yajna was conducted by Dr. Meenu Talwar, Head, Department of Sanskrit, while
the dais proceedings were managed by Dr Anjana Bhatia.
