The
Multimedia Club of the PG Department of Multimedia of Hans Raj Mahila
MahaVidyalaya organized an engaging and educational visit
to Machinex – 2026 (8th Edition) under the able
guidance of Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla. The visit offered
students a valuable opportunity to witness the latest innovations in technology
and digital fabrication. The visit was attended by students from B. Design

detailed processes of impression and laser printing on materials such as pens, book
covers, metals, and more. This immersive experience allowed them to gain a
practical understanding of how these technologies are applied across
commercial, industrial, and creative sectors.
Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) Ekta Khosla, lauded
the department’s initiative to continuously bridge the gap between academic
knowledge and industry practices, emphasizing the importance of such visits in
shaping students’ professional perspectives. Mr. Ashish Chadha, Head of the
Department, accompanied the students, ensuring they maximized learning
opportunities throughout the exhibition. The event also benefited from the
guidance of Ms. Heena Dhir, Ms. Tanvi Aggarwal, Ms. Neha
and Ms. Ruchika, who provided valuable insights into the exhibits and demonstrations.
The
students left the exhibition with enhanced knowledge of emerging technologies
and a deeper appreciation of their practical applications. The exposure is
expected to equip them with a competitive advantage in their future careers,
fostering creativity, technical proficiency, and industry awareness.
