Vidyalaya organized a PowerPoint Presentation Competition on the theme “Digital
Arrest”. The event was conducted with great enthusiasm and active participation
from students across various streams, reflecting the institution’s commitment
to promoting digital literacy and cyber awareness. The competition aimed to
enhance students’ technical acumen, encourage analytical thinking, and foster
awareness about emerging cyber crimes, particularly the growing menace of
digital arrest fraud. Participants showcased insightful research, innovative
perspectives, and compelling presentations highlighting preventive strategies
and the societal impact of cyber fraud in today’s rapidly evolving digital
landscape. Students demonstrated remarkable zeal and competence. After a
thorough evaluation, the results were declared with First Position: Divya
Mahindru ,Second Position: Manya Pahwa Third Position: Sukhman Kaur Kalra and
Consolation Prizes: Gurleen Kaur and Arshdeep Kaur . The competition was
adjudicated by an esteemed Judge Mr. Ashish Chadha, Head of the Multimedia
Department, who assessed participants on the basis of subject knowledge,
originality, innovation, research depth, and presentation skills. The event was
conducted under the able guidance and supervision of Dr. Sangeeta Arora, Head
of the Department, and Dr. Anil Bhasin, Incharge, Computer Club, whose
leadership ensured the smooth and successful execution of the programme. The
occasion was graced by the esteemed Principal, Dr. Ekta Khosla, who
congratulated the department for organizing a highly relevant and
intellectually enriching event. The programme concluded with a formal vote of
thanks extended to the distinguished judge, faculty members, and enthusiastic
participants for contributing to the resounding success of the competition.
