The
HMV family is jubilant as HMV Collegiate Senior Secondary School, Mahatma Hans
Raj Marg, Jalandhar, under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla,
achieved the prestigious 5-Star Swachh Evam Harit Vidyalaya Rating (SVHR)
2025-26 for excellence in environmental sustainability, sanitation, hygiene,
and green educational practices aligned with NEP 2020. Adding another glorious
feather to its cap, the institution emerged among the leading schools of the
district and earned recognition at the state level for its outstanding
contribution towards environmental awareness and sustainable campus
initiatives. Expressing immense happiness on this proud accomplishment,
Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla congratulated Nodal Officer Dr. Anjana Bhatia, School
Advisor Dr. Seema Marwaha, Mrs. Arvinder, all faculty members, students, and
the entire HMV family for their dedicated teamwork and continuous commitment
towards environmental stewardship. She stated that HMV has always believed in
nurturing socially responsible and environmentally conscious citizens through
value-based and holistic education. She further emphasized that sustainability
is not merely an activity at HMV but a way of life deeply integrated into the
institution’s vision and culture. The institution has consistently undertaken
impactful initiatives including plantation drives, waste management practices,
cleanliness campaigns, recycling projects, water conservation activities,
eco-awareness programmes, and student-led green campaigns. These efforts have
played a pivotal role in transforming the campus into a model of sustainable
and eco-friendly practices. The entire campus echoed with celebration and pride
as teachers and students rejoiced over this landmark achievement, which further
strengthens HMV’s legacy of excellence, innovation, and environmental
