Chandrayaan VIPNET Club of HMV celebrated International Year of Light 2015 (IYL-2015)

 The VIPNET Club of Deptt. of Physics of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya celebrated IYL-2015.  The inauguration was done by the Principal Dr. Rekha Kalia Bahrdwaj and Science faculty by lighting the lamp of knowledge.  Principal Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj also motivated the students to always move ahead in life towads light of knowledge and scientific persuits.  Mrs. Renuka Bhatti, Head Physics Deptt. and Coordinator of the Club explained the importance of IYL-2015 and its logo given by UNESCO.  On this occasion two competitions Power Point Presentations and Scientific Model Making were organized for the students.  Ms. Rajwinder, Ms. Ridhi and Ms. Kirandeep of B.Sc. III won first prize for their model Optical Innovations.  Ms. Manisha B.Sc. III won First prize, Ms. Shivangi and Ms. Saloni of B.Sc.III stood bracketed Second, Ms. RAjwinder of B.Sc.II stood Third and Ms. Neha of B.Sc.I got consolation prize for Power point presentation.  The stage was conducted by Mrs. Rakesh Uppal.  Mrs. M. Syal, Mrs. Bhupinder Kaur, Mrs. Kiranjit, Dr. Meena Shrma, Mrs. Geeta Sakhuja, Mrs. Saloni Sharma and Ms. Priyanka were also present on the occasion.
