The Wrestling Team of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya participated in Punjab State Wrestling Championship held at Gurdaspur from 30th to 31st Aug. and
won the
championship. Km. Preeti, Gagandeep,
Kulwinder won
Gold Medals in 48 Kgs, 53 kgs and 75 kgs weight category
respectively. Km. Harjit, Jaspreet,
Sharanjit, Sandeep got Silver Medal in 58 kgs, 60 kgs, 55 kgs, 63 kgs weight
category while Kuldeep, Balwinder, Gagandeep Pal Kaur and Navjot Kaur won Bronze
Medals in 69 kgs, 63 kgs, 48 kgs and 55 kgs weight category. Principal Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj
congratulated the winners, coach and members of Physical Education Deptt. On this occasion, Head Physical Education
Deptt. Mrs. Sudershan Kang, Coach Mr. Gurmeet Singh and others members of the
Sports Deptt. were also present.
