P.G. Department of Computer Science & IT of
Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar organized a Fresher Party for the PG
students of the department. Principal
Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj, on this promising day extended a warm welcome to the
students and encouraged them to give their best in academics as well as in
extra curricular activities. HOD, Dr.
Sangeeta Arora also addressed the students on this auspicious occasion. Seniors extended floral welcome to their
juniors by dedicating them various songs.
Participants entertained the audience by various dance performances and
singing songs. There was a spate of
events. Among all the events Music Chair
for teachers was center of attraction but specially in modelling students came
up with plethora of modern outfits and audience applaused it with great
zeal. Crown of Miss Fresher-2015 was
bagged by Ms. Gagandeep of PGDCA. Ms.
Harjot of M.Sc.(CS)-1st Sem. won the title Ms. Punjaban. And last but not the least Ms. Charming
title was given to Ms. Preeti (M.Sc. C.Sc., 1st Sem.). At the end, students and teachers dispersed
with a vote of thanks and best wishes from the Principal. Mrs. Sangeeta Bhandari was the overall
Incharge of the function. Mr. Anil
Bhasin, Mr. Gullagong, Mr. Gurmeet Singh, Mr. Ravinder Jindal, Mr. Jagjit
Bhatia, Mrs. Urvashi, Ms. Sonia, Mr. Pardeep attended the function.
