HMV won First Runners-up Overall Trophy in GNDU Zonal Youth Festival

Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar outshined in Zonal Youth Festival held from 26^th to 29^th October,2015 at GNDU, Amritsar.  The college bagged First Runners-up Overall Trophy.  College participated in various items - Phulkari, Rangoli, Fancy Dress, Classical Vocal, Folk Orchestra, Quiz, Skit, Giddha and Western Group Song got first positions.  Group Song (Indian), Mimicry, Cartooning, Poster Making, Collage, Clay Modeling, Installation Vaar, Poetical Symposium stood Second.    Classical Inst. (Non-Per.), On the Spot Painting, Classical Dance, Group Bhajan, Kawishri, Geet/Gazal, Folk Song, Western Vocal Solo and Dance stood third.  In 34 items organized by the University, the college teams secured prizes in 27 items.  Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj congratulated and honoured all the Item Incharges, team members and participants.  Dr. Jasbir Rishi, Advisor and Prof. Navroop, Dean Youth Welfare Deptt. presented the trophy to the Principal.  The Principal motivated the students for winning more positions and prizes in Inter-Zonal as well as other competitions.
