Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya won the Doaba Youth
Festival Overall Trophy for the second time consecutively. Principal Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj
congratulated the students and teachers.
She told that the college has won 9 First prizes, 9 Second
prizes, 4 Third prizes and one consolation prize. Other than that installation of the college
got special prize. The college
participated in Geet/Gazal, Choreography, Folk Song, Sketching, Collage, Clay
Modelling, Rangoli, Cartooning and won first prizes in it. The second prize were won in Mimicry, Mime,
Elocution, Debate, Landscape, Still Life, Poster Making, Phulkari, Folk Dance. Moreover, Sufi Kalam, Dry Flower arrangement,
Photography and Installation won Third prizes.
Consolation prize was won in Poem Recitation.
The
total prizes won by the college lead to Overall Trophy. Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj said that this
second consecutive trophy defines the hard work of students and staff. She said students had made the college

Incharge Mrs. Veena Arora, Co-Incharge Miss Shama Sharma, Mrs. Rama Sharma, Dr.
Jyoti Gogia, Dr. Neeru Bharti, Mrs. Gagandeep, Ms. Lalita, Mrs. Alka Sharma and
Mrs. Mukti were present.
