Computer Tech Fest concluded at HMV

Computer Club of PG Deptt. of Computer Sc. & IT of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized Computer Tech Fest 2016.  A total of 9 events were organized in a week namely Paper Presentation, IT Quiz, Logic Development in C and C++, Web Development, IT extempore, Net Savy, One Act Play and Group Dance.  The fest was inaugurated by Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen.  Head of Computer Sc. Deptt. Dr. Sangeeta Arora, Mr. Gurmeet Singh and Ms. Sonia Mahendru with other faculty members extended a floral welcome to Madam Principal.  Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of the participants and explained them the importance of co-curricular activities in overall character building of the student.  Mr. Gurmeet Singh gave the highlights of the event.  In Paper Presentation, 21 participants and in Quiz, 11 teams were there.  In Paper Presentation, Jaspreet of BCA got first prize and Awalpreet got second prize.  In quiz, Shilpa and Ramanpreet got first prize, Jasleen Kaur and Divya got second prize.  In Logic Development in C Language, Prabhjot Kaur and Dilpreet got first, Saloni and Manisha got second and Ritu and Samta got third prize.  In Logic development with C++, Utsav got first, Aditi and Mamta got second and Divya and Divankshi got third prize.  In I.T. extempore, Ramanpreet got first, Sakshi got second and Nimisha got third prize.  In Web Development Ramandeep and Rupinder got first, Mandeep and Kavita got second prize.  In Net Savvy, Shailja, Sonam and Divankshi got first, second and third prize respectively.  In One Act Play/Mimicry, Surbhi got first and Shilpa got second prize.  In group dance students of BCA 3^rd Sem. got first prize and students of B.Sc. Eco. 5^th Sem. got second prize.   In Modelling Round, the title of Miss Tech Fest PG was given to Navjot Kaur and Miss Tech Fest UG was awarded to Shalini.  Miss Gorgeous, Miss Ethnic and Miss Charming were also awarded to the students.

            All the staff members of Computer Sc. Deptt. were present and Dr. Sangeeta Arora welcomed the Principal on concluding day.  Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen gave away the prizes to the winners and congratulated Comp.Sc. Deptt. for organizing such a wonderful event.  Vote of thanks was given by Mr. Gullagong.
