Chandrayaan Vipnet Club of Physics Deptt. of Hans Raj Mahila
Maha Vidyalaya organized Inter-class competitions under the celebration of International
Year of Pulses. Under these
competitions, Scientific Rangoli competition, Power point presentation and
Poster/Model Making competitions were organized. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen
inaugurated the event. The students
participated in various competitions enthusiastically. Principal Prof. Dr. Ajay Sareen said that
persons of scientific temper are very creative and practical. Teaching-Learning process should be
strengthened to provide more practical knowledge to the students. Head of Physics Deptt. Mrs. Rakesh Uppal
addressed the students and said that India is doing research in the field of
space. She also told that India has done
a commendable job by launching 20 satellites simultaneously. In poster/model making competition, judges
were Mrs. Jyoti Kaul, Dr. Meenakshi Syal and Dr. Seema Marwaha. Navjot Kaur got first prize, Rashmi Thakur
got second prize and Swati got third prize.
In Power point presentation, Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Dr. Neelam Sharma and
Mrs. Geeta Sakhuja were the judges.
Aakriti got first prize, Rajwinder got second prize and Maninder got
third prize. In Rangoli competition,
Mrs. Neety Sood, Mrs. Saloni Sharma and Dr. Meena Sharma were the judges. Kanupriya and Kanupriya got first prize,
Harjot and Komalpreet got second prize and Falak and Simran got third prize.
Stage was conducted by Dr. Meenakshi Syal.
Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen gave away the prizes to the winners
and congratulated Physics department for organizing the event.
