Under
DBT grant, 116 students of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya of graduate classes
visited Pushpa Gujral Science City. The
objective of this visit was to encourage the students and to make them aware of
role of science in our daily life. The
students explored the world of science through various setups in science
city. Students were thrilled to see the
Dino park. They had a glimpse of
Jurassic age. They enjoyed 3-D
show. Laser show and movie back to moon
in Dome theatre. Further they got first
hand information about earthquake by sitting in an earthquake simulator. They also gathered knowledge about global
warming in the climate change theatre.
The trip was beneficial for students as they explored many new horizons
of science and knew about significance of science and technology now a
days. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen
appreciated and promoted such educational trips to inculcate interest in
science and research. This trip was
organized under nice guidance of Mrs. Jyoti Kaul, Incharge Sciences. The students were accompanied by Mrs.
Ramandeep Kaur, Ms. Avantika, Ms. Umesh and Ms. Shilpa.
ਹੰਸ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਵਿਦਿਆਲਾ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੀ.ਐਸ.ਸੀ ਭਾਗ-ਪਹਿਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੀਜਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੁਸ਼ਪਾ ਗੁਜਰਾਲ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਸਿਟੀ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਜਯੋਤਿ ਕੌਲ ਦੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ-ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਹੇਠ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰੇ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਅਤੇ ਤਕਨੀਕ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਸੀ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਧਿਅਮ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਰਿਵਰਤਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਜਾਨਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਡੀਨੋ ਪਾਰਕ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤੇ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਜੀਵ-ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਜਾਨਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਥ੍ਰੀ ਡੀ ਸ਼ੋਅ, ਲੇਜਰ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਦੇਖ ਕੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਡ੍ਰੋਨ ਥਿਏਟਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਕ ਟੂ ਮੂਨ ਫਿਲਮ ਦੇਖ ਕੇ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋਇਆਂ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਭੂਕੰਪ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਜਾਨਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਾਨਕਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਵਾਤਾਵਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਪਰਿਵਰਤਨ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਜਾਨਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਹ ਦੌਰਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਪਯੋਗੀ ਰਿਹਾ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਦੇ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਜਾਨਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਕਾਰਜ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਰਮਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ, ਅਵਤਿਕਾ, ਉਮੇਸ਼ ਕਮਬੋਜ਼, ਸ਼ਿਲਪਾ ਕਸ਼ੱਪ ਵੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
