The Career Counselling Cell of Hans Raj Mahila
Maha Vidyalaya organized a Guest Lecture on Career Opportunities in Government
Sector. The resource person was Mr.
Paramjit Singh. Principal Prof. Dr.
(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen and Career Counselling Cell, Incharge Dr. Seema Khanna
welcomed him with a bouquet of flowers.
Mr. Paramjit Singh told the students about the various career
opportunities in government sector. He
told the students about opportunities in IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS, Railways, Banking
Sector, Education Sector, Defence, etc.
He said that self study is very much important to crack any government
exams. He also told that in India, more
than 6 lakhs posts are lying vacant in Centre and State Govt. departments and
motivated the students to prepare for such exams. More than 250 students of various streams
participated in this lecture and got benefitted. Incharge Career Counselling Cell Dr. Seema
Khanna presented vote of thanks. Stage
was conducted by Mrs. Kajal Puri. On
this occasion, Mrs. Sangeeta Bhandari, Mrs. Rama Sharma and Mr. Harpreet Singh
were also present.
ਹੰਸਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਵਿਦਿਆਲਾ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਕਰਿਅਰ ਕਾਊਂਸਲਿੰਗ ਸੈਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸੈਕਟਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰਿਅਰ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਤੇ ਲੈਕਚਰ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਬਤੌਰ ਰਿਸੋਰਸ ਪਰਸਨ ਪਰਮਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਿਅਰ ਕਾਊਂਸਲਿੰਗ ਸੈਲ ਦੀ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ਼ ਡਾ. ਸੀਮਾ ਖੰਨਾ ਨੇ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪਰਮਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸੈਕਟਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰਿਅਰ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਆਈ.ਏ.ਐਸ., ਆਈ.ਪੀ.ਐਸ, ਆਈ.ਐਫ.ਐਸ, ਆਈ.ਆਰ.ਐਸ, ਰੇਲਵੇ, ਬੈਂਕਿੰਗ, ਏਜੁਕੇਸ਼ਨ, ਡਿਫੈਂਸ ਆਦਿ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਨਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਯੋਗੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਸੈਲਫ ਸਟਡੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਟੇਟ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਚ 6 ਲੱਖ ਤੋਂ ਜਿਆਦਾ ਪਦ ਖਾਲੀ ਪਏ ਹਨ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਯੋਗੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਲੈਕਚਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਭਿੰਨ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਦੀ 250 ਤੋਂ ਜਿਆਦਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ। ਡਾ. ਸੀਮਾ ਖੰਨਾ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਸੰਗੀਤਾ ਭੰਡਾਰੀ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਰਮਾ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
