Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar
organized 7-day workshop on "Communication Skills" under the
Community College Scheme of UGC. The
resource person was Prof. Z.N. Patil.
Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen welcomed the resource person. The workshop had several to rainstorming
activities for the betterment of communication skills. In the preliminary
session, a short movie "PAPER MAN" by Disney was screened for the students.
The resource person gave an activity to put the movie into words by creating
short sentences & connecting them with connectors. During 7 days workshop,
several innovative activities such as word formation, sentence formation
through pictures, story composition, etc. made learning fun. The emphasis was
also laid on the betterment of listening skills as the resource person said
that a speaker cannot be a good speaker without sharp listening skills.
Students participated enthusiastically in the workshop and thoroughly enjoyed
the activities. On this occasion, Mrs. Ramnita Saini Sharda, Mrs. Rama Sharma
and Ms. Gunjan Kapoor were also present.
ਹੰਸ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਵਿਦਿਆਲਿਆ ਦੇ ਅੰਗਰੇਜੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਸ ਕੰਮਯੂਨੀਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਵੀਡਿਓ ਪ੍ਰੋਡਕਸ਼ਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਵਲੋਂ ਯੂ.ਜੀ.ਸੀ. ਦੀ ਕੰਮਯੂਨਿਟੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਸਕੀਮ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਰਗਤ 7 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ‘ਕੰਮਯੂਨੀਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਸਕੀਲ ਸੀ। ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਤੌਰ ਰਿਸੋਰਸ ਪਰੱਸਨ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਜੈਡ.ਐਨ. ਪਾਟਿਲ, ਪੂਰਵ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਅਤੇ ਹੈਡ, ਸੈਂਟਰਲ ਇੰਗਲੀਸ਼ ਐਂਡ ਫੋਰਨ ਲੈਂਗੂਏਜ਼ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਹੈਦਰਾਬਾਦ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡਾ. ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਰਿਸੋਰਸ ਪਰਸਨ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਚਾਰ ਦੀ ਕਲਾ ਨੂੰ ਵਧੀਆ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਕਈ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਕਰਵਾਇਆਂ ਗਈਆ। ਆਰੰਭਿਕ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿਜ਼ਨੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਨਿਰਮਿਤ ਲਘੂ ਫਿਲ਼ਮ ਪੇਪਰ ਮੈਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੋਟੇ ਵਾਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਿਲ਼ਮ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਬਿਠਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ। 7 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਨਵÄ ਗਤੀਵਿੱਧੀਆਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ, ਵਾਕ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਆਦਿ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਗਈ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਈ ਨਵÄ ਚੀਜ਼ਾ ਧਾਰਨ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ। ਰਿਸੋਰਸ ਪਰਸਨ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਜੈਡ ਐਨ. ਪਾਟਿਲ ਨੇ ਸੁਣਨ ਦੀ ਕਲਾ ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦੇਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਕ ਵਕਤਾ ਤਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਚੰਗਾ ਵਕਤਾ ਨਹÄ ਬਣ ਸਕਦਾ, ਜੱਦ ਤਕ ਉਸਦੀ ਸੁਣਨ ਦੀ ਕਲਾ ਉੱਤਰ ਨ ਹੋਵੇ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੱਧ ਚੜ• ਕੇ ਇਸ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਗਿਆਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਅਵਸਰ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਰਮਨੀਤਾ ਸੈਨੀ ਸ਼ਾਰਧਾ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਰਮਾ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਗੁੰਜਨ ਕਪੂਰ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
