The
students of Community College Diploma in Journalism & Media of Hans Raj
Mahila Maha Vidyalaya were given scholarships as per the directions of UGC.
This scholarship is awarded to students for passing their semester exams.
Principal Prof. Dr. Ajay Sareen congratulated the students. The students were
Palwinder Kaur, Neha Joshi, Manpreet Kaur, Shammi, Meena, Sakshi, Pallavi,
Indrila, Kiran and Navdeep. Principal Dr. Sareen told that HMV is offering one
year Diploma in Journalism & Media under Community College Scheme of UGC.
The eligibility of this course is +2 in any stream and there is no age limit
under this course. The course provides training in Print Media, Radio
Production, T.V. Production, Photojournalism is provided to the students. The college has signed MOUs with media houses
for imparting training & guidance to the students so that students can get
better placements. On this Occasion, Head of Deptt. Mrs. Rama Sharma was also
present.
