The IQAC cell of Hans Raj
Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized workshop on Organic Farming on December 12,
2017. 53 members of teaching, non-teaching and supporting staff attended the
workshop. The resource persons Mr. Baljit Kang and Ms. Lipika explained that
there is the immediate need for a shift to chemical free farming. The resource
persons said that it’s the need of the hour to put into practice our
traditional wisdom. They pointed out the ill effects of use of chemicals on the
health of human life. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen accepted the proposal of
the resource person and announced that the college will follow the practice of
organic farming.
