Valedictory Function of NSS at HMV

Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized the Valedictory Function of NSS Camp on the occasion of National Youth Day.  The day started with DAV Gaan and NSS Anthem.  Chief Guest of the occasion was Mr. Sukhi Bath, founder of Punjab Bhawan in Canada.  Guest of Honour was Mr. Avtar Henry (Junior), M.L.A. and Mr. Kulwinder Singh Gakhal.  Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen gave a warm welcome to the guests.  Programme Officer NSS Mrs. Veena Arora gave an introduction of the guests and read the report of NSS Camp.  Speaking on the occasion, Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen said that HMV stands for igniting the spirit of selfless sacrifice and working for others.  Programme Officer Dr. Anjana Bhatia said that we all must always endeavour to keep intact the human values.  Ms. Raghvi spoke on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekanand and National Youth Day.  Prizes were given to NSS Campers.  Ms. Raghvi got the prize of Best Camper.  Ragini became Most Curious Camper, Mansimran became Most Creative Camper.  Kirandeep Kaur stood First in Essay Writing competition.  Madhu Saini got second prize for Most Curious Camper.  Garima Arya also got prize of Most Creative Camper, Manisha Kumari stood second in Essay Writing competition, Mansi Lachotra got third prize as Best Speaker, Kanwalpreet and Kanu Priya got third prize as Most Creative Camper.  Dr. Anjana Bhatia gave vote of thanks.
