The bubbly throng of students of HMV erupted into screams and cheers when they caught the glimpse of Binoo Dhillon and Mandy Takhar entering the Ragini Auditorium of Hans Raj Mahlia Maha Vidyalaya.
The visit which formed a part of the promotion of their upcoming movie Band Vaaje was organized under the dynamic guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen and coordinators Mrs. Navroop and Dr. Nidhi Bal. Mr. Binoo Dhillon, Ms. Mandy and Ms. Pooja were presented with planters and phulkaris by Principal Dr. Sareen.
Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen gave best wishes to the star cast for their movie and appreciated the movie for its depiction of culture and traditions of Punjab. Feeling elated Mr. Binoo Dhillon remarked that HMV is a great name and felt privileged to come here. He felt ecstatic by the warmth and love expressed by the students.
Giving a piece of advice to the young generation he asked them to make a limited use of mobile phones which has become an addiction these days. On similar notes Mandy Takhar praised the vibrant vibes oozing out of the students. The star cast invited the students to watch their movie on 15th March, 2019.

ਹੰਸ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਲਾ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਮੁਕੱਦਸ ਵਿਹੜੇ 'ਚ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਅਜੇ ਸੀਰਨ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਯੋਗ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਅਧੀਨ ਸ੍ਰੀਮਾਨ ਬੀਨੂੰ ਢਿਲੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ ਮੈਂਡੀ ਟਖੱੜ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਸ ਪੂਡਾ (ਫਿਲਮ ਪ੍ਰਡਿਊਸਰ) ਆਪਣੀ ਨਵÄ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਬੈਂਡ ਵਾਜੇ' ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਰ ਲਈ ਆਏ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਮੈਡਮ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਬੀਨੂੰ ਢਿਲੋਂ ਦਾ ਪਲਾਂਟਰ ਅਤੇ ਫੁਲਕਾਰੀ ਭੇਂਟ ਕਰਕੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਭਰਿਆ ਸੁਆਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਡਾ. ਏਕਤਾ, ਡਾ. ਰਮਨੀਤਾ ਸੈਨੀ ਸ਼ਾਰਧਾ, ਡਾ. ਸੰਗੀਤਾ ਅਰੌੜਾ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਮਰਜੀਤ ਖੰਨਾ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਵੀ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਪ³ਕਜ ਜੋਤੀ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਲਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਮੈਂਡੀ ਟਖੱੜ ਨੂੰ ਪਲਾਂਟਰ, ਫੁਲਕਾਰੀ ਭੇਂਟ ਕੀਤੀ। ਕੁਮਾਰੀ ਪੂਜਾ (ਫਿਲਮ ਪ੍ਰਡਿਉਸਰ) ਦਾ ਮੁਆਗਤ ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਕੁਲਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ, ਡਾ. ਸੀਮਾ ਮਰਵਾਹਾ, ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਵੀਨਾ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪਲਾਂਟਰ ਤੇ ਫੁਲਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਫਿਲਮ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਬੀਨੂੰ ਢਿਲੋਂ ਨੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਆ ਕੇ ਮਾਨ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਲਜ ਪ³ਜਾਬ ਭਰ 'ਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਹੈ। ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਜੋਕੇ ਦੌਰ 'ਚ ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਦੇ ਉਚਿਤ ਪ੍ਰਯੋਗ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਫਲ ਭਵਿਖ ਲਈ ਸ਼ੁੱਭ ਕਾਮਨਾਵਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ। ਮੈਂਡੀ ਟਖੱੜ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ 15 ਮਾਰਚ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਲਮ ਰੀਲੀਜ਼ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣ ਲਈ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਮ-ਹੁਮਾ ਕੇ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਜੀਵਨ 'ਚ ਮਨੋਰੰਜਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਉਰਵਸ਼ੀ, ਸੁਨੀਤਾ ਧਵਨ, ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਮੀਨੂੰ ਕੋਹਲੀ, ਡਾ. ਮੀਨਾਕਸ਼ੀ ਦੁੱਗਲ, ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਯੂਵੀਕਾ, ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਰਮਾ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਪੂਨਮ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਪਵਨ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ, ਨਵਨੀਤਾ, ਬੀਨੂੰ, ਸਾਰਾ ਟੀਚਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਨ ਟੀਚਿੰਗ ਸਟਾਫ ਹਾਜਰ ਸੀ। ਮੰਚ ਦਾ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਡਾ. ਨਿਧੀ ਬਲ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੇ ਅੰਦ ਤੇ ਬੀਨੂੰ ਢਿਲੋਂ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਮੈਡਮ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੱਦੇ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਲਜ 'ਚ ਆਉਣ ਦਾ ਸੁਨਹਿਰੀ ਮੌਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਇਆ। ‘ਬੈਂਡ ਵਾਜੇ' ਫਿਲਮ ਦਾ ਟੇਲਰ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
